Our speciality is the iPod Disco, where people use their own music for their party or wedding reception. We can supply equipment for weddings, parties and conferences of up to 100 guests. What is an iPod Disco?

Our iPod Disco packages work with any iPod, MP3 player, laptop or anything with a standard headphone socket. We deliver and set it up for you so you can concentrate on planning the rest of your party.

An iPod Disco (also called iPod wedding or iPod party) is when people use their own music collection instead of hiring a DJ. Best of all, our sound and lighting equipment is no harder to use than any home stereo or iPod docking station.

All packages include speakers, speaker stands, all required cables and leads (including headphone socket connection lead), 2 channel mixer/amplifier, and of course delivery and set-up. Additional options include microphones, disco lighting and smoke machines.

PA system hire

Our range of PA systems is one of the biggest differences between NoDJ and other PA hire companies. Where others have a huge range of different systems, we have reduced our range to keep it simple. This obviously means that we don't hire to big events organisers but it allows us to focus on smaller events.

The speakers we use are carefully selected for the main types of events we hire to, which are parties of around 100 people in typical function rooms (sports clubs, social clubs and function rooms - that sort of thing).

Also suitable for use as DJ monitor speakers or microphone PA system for conferences and corporate events.

Disco lighting hire

As well as speakers, we stock lighting suitable for a range of events from weddings to house parties to product launches. If you just want something to brighten up a function room that's similar to a traditional mobile DJ then our 900w floor-standing lighting unit is all you need.

If you want something more like a nightclub experience then our lasers, strobes and UV (ultraviolet) lights create just that effect, especially when used with one of our smoke machines. These are professional nightclub-quality effects that can be used for special events in function rooms or at home for a crazy house party!

Finally, if you need something eye-catching then our flame lights (see right) are great. The large 1.5m high silk flames light up brightly and definitely attract attention.

DJ equipment hire

Our range of DJ equipment includes the Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3 CD decks and Pioneer DJM-800 DJ mixers, as well as microphones and DJ monitor speakers.

We also have 4-channel DJ mixers from other brands. The quality's just as good and they have all of the same features as the Pioneer DJM mixers except for the effects unit and Pioneer brand name.

For any DJs who've worked in clubs and found it hard to hear the music properly we hire out DJ monitor speaker systems to provide a dedicated pair of speakers exclusively for the DJ. This helps the sound come though more clearly and results in a better overall sound.
